trying out new ways to color in Photoshop hmm

Had to do some rad walking in place for Drawing for Animation I class.

 

Just some figure drawing from the past semester.

Shapes and Sizes

Had to sketch some characters using shapes and different sizes for Drawing for Animation, but I got a little ahead of myself and coloured them too oops.

We've been going into more complex animation more in my animation class now, and we're working on "breaking the joint" now. This is my animation for the assignment, and I think it is pretty ok, still lots of practice to do. I might go in and actually lineart it later.

I made this a while ago, but I figured I'd post it. They are some of my characters for a comic I want to make. .. . eventually.

Tilly, Harris, and I have yet to find a name for the pink haired girl :/

I painted some more.
The bonsai tree was done in about 40 minutes for the Spitpaint group yeehaw
And I forgot how long the snowy one took.

I didn't use a reference for light or anything for both paintings, so I think that's why there isn't much contrast in both of them.
Also I need more practice oop

So I tried my hand at speedpainting. I think I did ok.
I'll probably try to do this a lot more, it was fun !
